The AD8270 is a precision dual-channel differential amplifier monolithic IC from Analog Devices, Inc. Applications include instrumentation amplifier building blocks, level shifters, automated test equipment, high-performance audio equipment, and Sin/Cos encoders.

The AD8270 is available in a 4mm x 4mm LFCSP package with two differential amplifiers, as shown in Figure 1.

(4) With high precision DC performance, the gain accuracy is ±0.050:/0. The gain drift is lOppm, the offset voltage is 400uV, and the common analog ratio (CMRR) is ≤80dB.
(5) The supply current of each channel is 2.5mA, and the power supply voltage range is ±2.5V to ±18V.
(6) The package size is small, occupying only the same printed circuit board (PCB) area as a typical single amplifier, and the package is RoHS compliant.
(7) Operating temperature range is -40 ° C ~ 85 ° C.
Application circuit
The AD8270 application circuit with ground reference gain of 1 is shown in Figure 2. This circuit is the same as the circuit shown in Figure 3 to Figure 7. Only one differential amplifier in the AD8270 is used. A differential amplifier circuit with a gain of 1 and a half power supply reference is shown in Figure 3. The amplifier circuits with ground and with a half power supply reference and a gain of 0.5 are shown in Figures 4 and 5, respectively.
