As a solid-state lighting source, OLED is not only low-power, environment-friendly and safe, but also has the advantages of planar light emission, ultra-thin, arbitrary shape, large area, no heat dissipation and simple processing, and is considered to be the ideal lighting source. OLEDs can be used not only for indoor and outdoor lighting, backlights, and decorative lighting, but also for the production of artistic flexible light wallpapers, monochromatic light-emitting or color-emitting transparent windows and wearable luminous warning signs, etc., with a wide range of markets. In recent years, under the support of the State Fund Committee, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Madongge Research Team of Changchun Yinghua Institute has been devoted to OLED research. According to the latest research results, the power efficiency of the white OLED has exceeded 40 lm/W (brightness of 1000 CD/m2) without coupling output, reaching the international level. On this basis, Ma Dongge's task force has also successfully prepared 3-inch OLED light-emitting panels and developed OLED lamps.
