Robot underwater search to save people
On July 13th, two tourists came to the wild bath of Lilac Lake due to the heat of the day. One person suddenly cramped and the other man rushed to the rescue. The robot looks a bit like a "vacuum cleaner", with a camera in the glass cover on the head, a white light on each side, and a "mouth" on the robot that looks like a pair of pliers. There are two fans at the rear of the robot to help push forward, and the fan on the back can control the robot to float up and down in the water.
By connecting the underwater robot with the remote control and the display through the cable, the firefighters can direct the underwater robot to search and rescue through the remote control, and simultaneously reflect the underwater situation to the screen through the "eyes" of the underwater robot. When the underwater robot determines the position of the drowning person, the diver immediately enters the water to rescue the drowning person.
Fishing machine can rescue drowning
In addition, the underwater robot also has a "helper" called a search and rescue fishing machine. The fishing machine is like a big "clip", the "clip" head two robots such as two masks, a camera and a searchlight are its eyes, and the arm of the fishing machine is an extension rod that can be freely retractable up to 15 meters. . The firefighting operator directs the salvage machine into the water through the remote control platform to perform fan-shaped detection to search for the drowning person. If a drowning person is found, the operator can control the two robots to grab or hook the drowning person's clothes and quickly take them out of the drowning area to rescue the surface.
Yan Dongliang, deputy commander of the special fire brigade of the Shenyang Fire Brigade, revealed that underwater robots and search and rescue salvage machines have greatly solved the underwater threat to divers. The visibility under the waters of Shenyang is particularly low, and it can't be seen in 20 or 30 centimeters. Therefore, when divers use underwater rescue to search for drowning people, they can only find them by hand, which is especially inconvenient. In addition, due to the danger of underwater danger, there are many cages and fishing nets that threaten the safety of divers.
At present, Shenyang has only one set of underwater robots and search and rescue salvage machines. When the underwater robot and the search and rescue salvage machine cannot search, the diver has to perform underwater search, using fixed-point search, fan-shaped outward search, circular outward search, word search, etc., the diver does in the search area.
