Qualcomm launches three new Opteron processors to bring leading modems, images and transmissions to mainstream terminals

SAN FRANCISCO , February 11, 2016 - Qualcomm Incorporated (NASDAQ: QCOM) today announced that its subsidiary Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. has released three new next-generation Qualcomm SnapdragonTM processors: Snapdragon 625, 435 and 425.

The three new processors are designed to deliver some of the highest-end user experience for the broader smartphone ecosystem by leveraging custom development technologies including cameras, video, games and connectivity.

The new three Opteron processors integrate leading technologies, including LTE carrier aggregation, Snapdragon Netcom, 802.11ac supporting MU-MIMO, dual camera image signal processor (ISP), and Qualcomm® TruSignal for improved call reliability. TM technology, Qualcomm® HexagonTM DSP for low-power audio for sensor hubs – meets the sensor needs of Android M systems, Qualcomm® Quick ChargeTM and comprehensive reference designs.
