Jolla said that the previous $380,000 crowdfunding was completed within a few days. The company now has a new financing target of $1.25 million for this project. Jolla also offers a so-called "mini dealership" support package, which provides users with 20 tablet computers and marketing materials at a discount price of 3,499 US dollars.
The company also announced that if the amount of financing reached 1.5 million US dollars, then the 8-inch tablet PC support for MicroSD card will be expanded from 32GB to 128GB; if the amount of financing reached 1.75 million US dollars, then the tablet will support split-screen Two applications running at the same time in the view, similar to Windows 8; and if the amount of financing reaches 2.5 million US dollars, then the Tablet PC will support 3.5G data connection, the EU market, all users who order this Tablet PC can get this option .
It is understood that Jolla decided to develop the tablet before the crowdfunding project was announced.
