Overview:

This article introduces a simple, low-cost inverter power supply, when the AC power supply is out of power, power supply for low-power soldering iron (25w, 35W, etc.). The power supply uses 8 transistors and several resistors and capacitors as shown in the drawing.

Transistors T1 and T2 (model BC547) form a multivibrator circuit to generate a 50 Hz signal. The collectors of transistors T1 and T2 are complementary outputs. A PNP Darlington driver consisting of transistors T3 and T4, T5 and T6 (BC558 and BD140) is fed. The output of the driver is then fed into the push-pull circuit of transistors T7, T8 (model 2N3055). A heat sink of an appropriate size should be added to the transistors T5 to T8.

The circuit uses a 230V/AC, primary to secondary 2x10V, 4.5Ah transformer (x1). The center tap of the secondary of the transformer is connected to the battery (+12V, 7Ah) terminal, and the other two terminals of the secondary are connected to the collectors of the power transistors T7, T8, respectively.

When you turn on switch S1 to power the circuit. Transformer x1 primary feeling of birthday 230V AC voltage. This voltage will heat your soldering iron.

Mount the circuit on a regular PCB and place it in a suitable small box. Use a suitable current-carrying wire to connect to the battery and transformer. On the front panel of the small box, install the power switch S1 and the three-pin socket for inserting the soldering iron plug.

Note: The rating of the battery and the transistors T7 and T8, transformers, etc., should be adjusted with the relevant parameter values as the load (power of the soldering iron) changes.

Direct Current, or DC, electric motors power a wide range of applications. Biote Electric has helped clients source, design and develop small DC electric motors for a wide range of commercial applications. We have the knowledge and resources needed to help you find the best motor for your OEM application and budget.

Permanent-magnet DC motor can be directly connected to a DC power supply, or an AC power supply operated through a rectifier. You can control the speed of DC motor by adjusting voltage level.
Motor output is from 10W to 5000W and also can choose to equip with a Gear Box . DC motors have simple appearance and easy to install so that our DC motors provide a wide range of industrial applications.

Brushed Motors These are a more traditional type of motor and are typically used in cost-sensitive applications, where control systems are relatively simple, such as in consumer applications and more basic industrial equipment.
